Reduced Ordnance Survey map prices and simpler licensing on FIND Maps

This month we’re introducing two important changes to our Ordnance Survey products. The first is substantial price reductions OS MasterMap exports. The second is simplified licensing for many Ordnance Survey maps & data.

Price reductions

FIND Maps is delighted to be able to offer significant price reductions on exports of OS MasterMap. As can be seen from the following table, the greater the area, the more dramatic the saving:

Simplified licensing arrangements

The Standard Licensed Use (SLU) now replaces the old Plan, Design & Build and Internal Business Use licences. This simplifies licensing arrangements for a range of Ordnance Survey maps and data.

Other benefits of the new SLU:

• OS mapping can be legally shared by members of a project team
• Data may be archived for reference/dispute resolution
• One, two or three year SLUs available for OS MasterMap
• Three year SLU covers
• Street / Ordnance Survey Street View (1:10 000)
• Locale / Ordnance Survey 1:25 000 Scale Raster
• Town / Ordnance Survey 1:50 000 Scale Raster
• Address Layer 2
• Landform PROFILE DTM
• Codepoint Polygons

All changes to Ordnance Survey licences have been incorporated by FIND Maps and each Ordnance Survey export now automatically contains a PDF of the document.
